Meg Rose

I am incredibly excited to be joining Newtown Primary School this year and teaching the Sparrows Year 2 class. I am looking forward to supporting the children on their learning journey, helping them to feel valued, confident and inspired within an inclusive, creative and nurturing classroom environment.

Professionally, I completed a BSc Econ in Politics and International Relations before spending ten years working in project management and adult education. Wanting to bring my experience into a career that aligns more closely with my values, I returned to education and completed my PGCE with Inclusion (SEND) at the University of Exeter.

Having lived in Exeter since 2015, I am thrilled to build on my connection with the local area by becoming part of the Newtown community. In my spare time, I enjoy walking and hiking in nature and along the coast, listening to live music and spending time with family and friends.
